NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Joe Delmolino and Toby Foehl posted big nights Thursday to lead their teams to victory in the John Giorgi Summer Basketball League.

 

Delmolino scored 30 and blocked a pair of shots to lead the Hoosac Valley High School boys to a 73-66 win over Monument Mountain.

 

Foehl scored 25 and had two blocks as Mount Greylock defeated Monument Mountain, 54-45.

 

Malcolm Waynick scored 12 and grabbed seven rebounds for the Mounties.

 

McCann Tech got 15 points from Keeghan Vidal and 13 from Bruce Davis. Sean Sumner had a double double for the Hornets with 11 points and 15 rebounds.

 

Hoosac Valley's Delmolino was backed up by Izaha Stubbs with 28 points.

 

Connor Hanavan scored 22, and Zach Goffin had 17 points and eight boards for Monument Mountain.

 

The Giorgi League takes a couple of nights off for the weekend and returns with men's division action at Noel Field on Sunday. Frank Field Contracting takes on iBerkshires.com at 6:30 with Swish against Central Radio to follow.
