NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Scott McGuire Jr. scored 26 points Tuesday to lead the North Adams boys basketball team to a 51-47 win over Hoosac Valley in the John Giorgi Summer Basketball League.

 

Tim Brazeau scored 12 to go with eight rebounds and two blocks in the win.

 

For Hoosac Valley, Izaha Stubbs scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds, and Joe Delmolino had 15 points.

 

In Tuesday's other game, Connor Hanavan scored 20 points and Kieran Santos added 19 as Monument Mountain beat McCann Tech, 90-45.

 

Zach Goffin just missed a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds for the Spartans.

 

The Hornets were led by Jackson Owensby with 13 points and Bruce Davis with 12.
