Some 8,000 people are expected to attend this year's three-day music and art festival headlined by Wilco.

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The parking lots, motels and camping areas are fast filling up as an estimated 8,000 or more Solid Sound Festival fans descend on the city. 
 
The three-day festival curated by the band Wilco at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art also means local businesses and eateries will be staying open later and activities will be held throughout the weekend. 
 
Below is a list of weekend events and hours. PS: Don't be afraid to come down town! There's still plenty of room for area residents to participate in the goings on and you may meet some really interesting people. 
 
DownStreet Art
Collage marathon "100 Hours in the Woodshed VI" at MCLA's Design Lab, 49 Main St. Twenty artists will be working and visitors are encouraged to watch the creative process, ask questions and contribute to a community collage mural. 
 
Hours are 10 a.m. to midnight on Friday, Sunday and Monday, and 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Saturday.

At the Leu Lot: Chantarelle to Go and LoCAL food trucks, vendors: Mountain Girl Farm
V&V  Liquors at Steeple City Plaza hosts a Southern Tier Beer Tasting from 2 to 6 p.m.

Center Street Farmer & Artisan Market from 9 to 2
Fresh local produce, cheese, meat, bread, granola, eggs, honey, syrup, and artisan goods; 20-plus vendors

EMRCA at the Mohawk Theater, 111 Main St.,  from 4 to 8 p.m.
The historic Mohawk Theater will feature railroad model construction and the preliminary plans for the Extreme Model Railroad and Contemporary Architecture museum.
 
Church Crawl from 7 to 9 p.m.
First Congregational, First Baptist, and All Saints Churches, in coordination with "Cloudland," open their doors for tours of their history, architecture and stained glass
