ADAMS, Mass. — The Adams Youth Center's Great Chair Auction fundraiser raised nearly $8,000 on Sunday.

DiSanti said the community really comes together every year to help with the Great Chair Auction.
"The community really is great," she said. "They donate chairs, paint chairs, the businesses buy ads and put the chairs in their store fronts. It is a great community event that shows the kindness of the community."

DiSanti said the auction is the Youth Center's biggest fundraiser and the money will help fund programming.
