NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Nolan Bird scored 20 points on Sunday night to lead Mingo's/Moresi Associates to a 61-57 win over North Adams Law in the John Giorgi Summer Basketball League.

 

Seth Shepard backed up Bird with 12 points at the North Adams Armory.

 

Brandon Hurst scored a game-high 25 points and grabbed eight rebounds, and Joe Moulton scored 10 for North Adams Law.

 

In Sunday's other game, Flynn and Dagnoli/JBC defeated Waubeeka Golf Links, 72-52.

 

Lawrence Carrier and Keiland Cross each had a double-double for Flynn and Dagnoli.

 

Carrier scored a team-high 22 with 10 boards. Cross scored 15 and grabbed 10 rebounds. Vern Cross chipped in with 11 points.

 

Waubeeka was led by Brandon DAvis, who scored 18 points on six 3-pointers. Nick Lentine added 12.
