NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Laconia broke open a one-run game witha six-run seventh inning on the way to a 9-0 win over the North Adams SteepleCats on Saturday night in New England Colleagiate Baseball League action.
Jackson Cramer went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for the Muskrats, who got seven innings of two-hit pitching from Timothy Viehoff while improving to 13-10 this summer.
One of the SteepleCats' three hits was a double by Joe DeLuca.
North Adams starter Dakota Edwards was tagged with the loss. Hoosac Valley graduate Tanner Bird gave up two hits and two runs in one innning of relief.
North Adams (11-11) will look to get back above .500 on Sunday afternoon when it hosts Sanford, Maine, at 4:30.
