NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Brandon Mauer scored 18 points and grabbed 16 rebounds on Wednesday night to lead Frank Field Contracting to a 62-58 win over BFAIR/NA Law at the North Adams Armory in the John Giorgi Summer Basketball League.

 

Nick Aitken added 15 points and Paul Oparowski Jr. had 12 in the win for Frank Field.

 

BFAIR was led by Cam Lesure with 20 points and eight rebounds. Brian Dowling and Brandon Hurst scored 13 and 12, respectively, in a losing cause.

 

In Wednesday's other game, Trevor Alibozek scored 11 points and grabbed nine boards and Steve Bopp scored 10 to lead Yard Work by Dan to a 54-44 win over Bud Light.

 

Bud Light's Jackson Tower scored a game-high 16, and Anthony Karch had 15.

 

Play resumes Thursday with two high school boys games and one game in the women's league starting at 6:30 at Noel Field.
