NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Clare Tullock and Lindsay Samale, both family nurse practitioners, have joined Northern Berkshire Family Medicine, located at 820 State Road, adjacent to Stop & Shop supermarket.
Tullock earned her master of science in nursing from Sage Graduate School in Troy, N.Y., and her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She completed her training at Berkshire Medical Group, Berkshire OB/GYN, Lee Family Practice and the pediatric practice of Dr. Brian Dempsey. These focused on adult, pediatric and gynecologic and obstetric patients. Tullock joined Northern Berkshire Family Medicine in July.
Samale earned her bachelor's degree in nursing also from UMass-Amherst, and completed her master's degree at the University of Cincinnati. She trained as a family nurse practitioner with Berkshire OB/GYN, Berkshire Medical Center's Emergency Department, Lee Family Practice and Berkshire Pediatric Associates. She is a member of the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
As nurse practitioners, Tullock and Samale can diagnose and treat a wide range of health issues. They can prescribe medication, order diagnostic tests and treat chronic health conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes.
