NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Jake Ferrara's single to center field scored Taconic graduate Austin Rachiele with the winning run and completing a comeback win and lifting the Trailblazers to a 4-3 nine inning win over Mass Maritime in Game Two of a twinbill at Joe Wolfe Field in MASCAC action on Sunday.   The Buccaneers took game one 2-1 in a pitchers duel.   MCLA (8-17) took the season series from MMA and is now 2-8 in the conference. SALEM, Mass. -- Salem State's Kirsten Bradley collected five goals to lead the Vikings to a 15-7 win over MCLA Saturday evening in women's lacrosse.   The teams traded goals to start things off and Bradley and MCLA's Kim Granito each tallied in the opening four minutes. BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. --  Pittsfield High graduate Bobby New scattered seven hits and struck out seven batters to lead the MCLA baseball team to a 7-0 win over Mass Maritime on Friday.   The teams will play a twinbill tomorrow in North Adams at Joe Wolfe Field, wrapping up their season series.   He walked just one batter and threw 135 pitches in the win as he improved to 3-3 this spring.   MCLA (7-17, 1-8 MASCAC) gave him plenty of run support and took advantage of six miscues for MMA (6-17, 3-7).   Dillon Maxon doubled home Joe Toledo in the second inning for a 1-0 advantage. NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- MCLA's Kim Granito and Ciera Dowling combined for nine goals in the Trailblazers 14-8 win over Bay Path University Tuesday evening at Shewcraft Field.   The Trailblazers (1-6) started fast as Ciera Dowling scored just 2:15 into the contest for a 1-0 advantage. After Kim Granito's tally made it 2-0, Dowling struck again to increase to a 3-0 advantage.    MCLA's Brianna Morris converted two straight chances to cap the run as the Trailblazers built a 5-0 lead. FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – Senior pitcher Kelsi Gunarathne became the Framingham State University softball career strikeout leader as she earned the victory both games of the doubleheader, and the Rams swept the MCLA Trailblazers by scores of 11-0 and 5-0 Saturday afternoon in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference action.   Gunarathne entered the game with 350 career strikeouts needing just two to surpass the old mark of 351 established by former Ram Yaya Faria who wore the black and gold from 2011-13. Gunarathne struck out the first batter in the second inning tying Faria's mark and broke the record a batter later with her second strikeout of the game and inning.
