Dolores St. Pierre, 83

February 19, 2021

Dolores D. (Vitali) St Pierre passed away on February 19th surrounded by her family. Born on February 6 1938 to Joseph and Rose (Sebastino) Vitali in North Adams. She graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1955, Dolores married William A. St Pierre on October 13th 1956. She was employed as a payroll clerk at Hunter Outdoor Products for many years, The Orchards and The North Adams Inn before retiring. She was on the bowling league for many years. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband William “Pop” St Pierre. They were married 56 years. She is survived by her children Cindy St Pierre Noel of Williamstown, 3 sons Mike (Christine) St. Pierre of Williamstown , Bill (Tammy) St. Pierre, Bob (Melanie) St. Pierre of North Adams, Grandchildren-Michael, Luke, Nathan, Noah St Pierre. Joe Noel, Anna and Jacob McNicol. Great granddaughter Isabella. She also leaves her brother Donald (Toni) Vitali. Her casino buddy Geri DeRose and many close nieces and nephews. Dolores and her children founded PopCares, a local cancer non-profit that donates to local people afflicted with cancer. Even through all of her health issues over the last few years she continued to stay active with PopCares. She would call cancer patients to see how they were doing and ask how PopCares could help them. She would laugh with them and cry with them and tell them that they were not alone. She was the heart and soul of PopCares. We believe that this mission along with her family support is what kept her strong and gave her will power to keep going. The family of Dolores St. Pierre would like to thank the caring staff at the North County Renal Dialysis for their love and care for the past 3 years. In lieu of flowers, it is Dolores’s wish to have donations made to PopCares Po Box 482 Williamstown, MA 01267. Calling Hours are Saturday February 27, 2021 from 3PM to 6PM. at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. To the St. Pierre Family, I am so sorry to hear of Dolores passing. Certainly a kind and generous lady to never forget. I never got to meet her but I know how much she supported the Pop's Cares Program and after battling cancer myself I found her an inspiration to me in words and deeds. She was there for me when I needed the help. I am forever grateful. She was a wonderful person to all she helped. My Deepest Sympathy to all of you.
Sincerely,
Caroline Martel

As a bystander mostly from a distance, she was the “Lady of Compassion”, who left her legacy to her family of caring for our community. She set the example for us all. You’re Pop Cares work speaks of her love for each of her family members and all of us. She will always be remembered. THANKYOU Delores. My prayers for your family.

Dearest Cindy, Mike, Bill and Bob and families, It is with deep sadness that we have to experience this but know that your mom is home safe in the arms of the Lord and that she is healed and whole once again! Funny she would always say to me," You were always my favorite", but you know Aunt Dolores was my favorite too! Our dearest and deepest condolences to you all with love
