Robert W. Rumbolt, 76

February 12, 2021

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Robert William Rumbolt 76, of North Adams died Friday February 12, 2021 at Berkshire Medical Center due to complications from Covid-19. He was born in Clarksburg, MA on August 18, 1944 a son of the late William Henry "Tom" and Evelyn Rumbolt. Robert graduated from Drury High School and completed post graduate studies at McCann. He was employed as a draftsman for many years for the Sprague Electric Co. and General Electric Co. He was last employed at the Adams Community Bank. Bob enjoyed golfing, fishing and playing cards. He was a member of the Greylock Community Club, North Adams American Legion and the Elks Lodge. Survivors include his wife of 54 years Nancy (Hillard) Rumbolt whom he married August 13, 1966; Two sons Robert J. Rumbolt and his daughter Victoria Way "Tori" Rumbolt who died April 24, 2014; Thomas W. Rumbolt and his wife Maryjane and their children Logan, Aubrey and Corbin Rumbolt. He also leaves behind two sisters Beverly Henderson and her husband Alan and Nancy Trzcinski and his best friend Archie Dupont and his wife Linda.



A Private celebration of his life will take place Friday February 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. Burial will be in the spring in Clarksburg Cemetery. Calling Hours are Thursday February 18, 2021 from 4-7 PM at the funeral home. I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing, my heart and prayers go out to the Rumbolt family. He was such a great guy, humble and true. Bob and I became good friends and co-workers in the Wedding photography business. I can't say enough about Bob, he was a true professional in every way, he will be sadly missed.
