Emily Breen, 77

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  We are saddened and heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of our mother, Emily Anne Breen, on Sunday, November 15, 2020. Emily was born on September 28, 1943.



Emily was a graduate of Drury High School with the Class of 1961. She went on to get her Bachelor’s Degree from the former North Adams State College in 1988. She worked many years in the mental health field until her retirement. At the time of her death she was employed by Obilio Rodriguez, whom she had high regard, as a taxi driver for his company RJ’s Taxi.



Emily was the widow of Francisco Moreno, who died in November, 1999. She was also the widow of Henry Breen, who died September, 2017.



Emily leaves her children, Lisa; Milton and his companion, Theresa; Matthew and his wife, Cynthia; Lori and her companion, Bob (who she also regarded as a son); Elsa; and Chico and his wife, Jocelyn. She also leaves behind 20 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Emily was predeceased by her loving son, Michael; her mother, Elizabeth Duquette; and her brother, Phillip Bleau.



Emily also leaves many people young and old who adored her. She never hesitated to lend an ear or a helping hand to anyone in need.



Per her request, there will be no services. Always remember to be kind and spread love in Emily’s name. Memorial donations may be made to “Josh Bressette Commit to Save a Life”, in care of Flynn and Dagnoli Funeral Home, 74 Marshall Street, North Adams, MA. It has been years since i've seen Emily, thought about her often over the years. Emily felt strongly about empowering people. I always admired Emily, her love of family was immeasurable. Peace be with you my friend. My heartfelt condolences to your beloved family.

I can't believe what i'm seeing this is just so heartbreaking i'm in shock.I love this lady we bonded as friends she was a very special lady and i will miss her dearly,my love,thoughts and prayers go out to Elsa and her family.
