NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Mr. Paul David Cote, 49, of Cheshire died on Monday, August 20, 2018, at Berkshire Medical Center in North Adams.
He was born in North Adams on June 24, 1969, a son of Janina (Andrzejewski) Cote and the late Henry Cote. He attended schools in Adams. Mr. Cote worked for Maxymillian Construction Company, Denny Condron and Troy’s Tree Service.
He was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. He was a member of the Maple Grove Civic Club, Adams. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and he was very active in his children’s sporting events.
Besides his mother of Adams, he is survived by his wife, the former Stacey Leigh Jennings, whom he married on June 29, 1991; three daughters, Jessica, Coryssa and Samantha Cote; his adopted son Thomas Peterson; six brothers, Stanley, Thaddeus, Peter, John, Steven and Anthony Cote; one sister, Katherine Cote; five grandchildren, Ryleigh, Kyle, Dominick, Aleigha and Logan; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Bruce and Cherie Jennings; a brother-in-law, Matt Jennings. He was the favorite uncle to fourteen nieces and nephews and he also leaves many close friends.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Frank, Michael and Adam Cote.
Funeral notice: The funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at 9 a.m. from the Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Adams.
Calling hours are Tuesday, August 28, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family through the funeral home.
